Fun Facts
I love everything art and storytelling! Watching films, playing video games and Dungeons and Dragons is my way of relaxing a refilling my creative fuel. I also enjoy cooking, swimming, and long night drives.
About Me
I am a 3rd-year student in San Jose State University's Animation/Illustration program. I also spent 2 years in Sacramento's Los Rios Community College district studying Art New Media at American River College. During high school, I had to opportunity to produce student short films for which I and my teams were awarded by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences San Francisco/Northern California Chapter and the Walt Disney Family Museum's Teen Animation Festival International.
Experience
I have spent the last 8 years of my life diligently studying visual and other storytelling media. My expertise extends to subjects such as art fundamentals, animation, storyboarding, editing, world-building, and project management. In addition, I am also highly proficient in software in Adobe's suite of products particularly Photoshop and Illustrator as well as Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard.
Approach
I want to ignite and stoke the passions that each student possesses. I hope that by showing the interconnectivity between the arts and other subjects students can have a greater appreciation for the cross-pollination that exists in the wider world and can think more critically because of it. Through demos and projects, students can see how skill is applied and how to apply their talents and novel information to the task at hand.
