About Me

I am currently a teacher at Andrew Jackson Middle. I teach 8th grade ELA. I have experience working with children as well as adults of all ages and would love to work with you too in helping you succeed and achieve your professional, academic and personal growth.

Experience

As an online ESL tutor for 3 years and constant help to family and friends as well as students, I have experience working with all ages and am familiar with many concepts in English, reading and writing. I have great test taking skills as I had a 3.5 GPA in college and scored a 26 on the ACT.

Approach

Although as a child, I did not struggle much in school, I know how demoralizing and challenging it can be for a child or adult in the classroom. I am here to give positive reassurance and really help you through the material you are struggling with. It is my job to help, not to hurt!
