Fun Facts
I am originally from Cleveland and have lived in Columbus for the last four years. I enjoy running on the Olentangy Trail, and have ran in the past two Columbus Half Marathons. My favorite part of Columbus is how many different types of restaurants there are and fun places to experience. I plan on moving back to Cleveland in the future to be near family.
About Me
I am a Senior at The Ohio State University and will be graduating in May with a degree in Health Sciences. My current GPA is 3.44 but have a goal to graduate with above a 3.5. I have applied for my Masters of Anesthesia to become an anesthesiology assistant. While in college I have been an active member of Mount Leadership Society Scholars program and Chi Omega Fraternity.
In the summer of 2014 I was a teaching assistant in a first grade classroom. I taught reading-comprehension/ohio/columbus">reading comprehension and writing skills to underprivileged children. This semester I am a columbus">tutor to an 8th grade male student with ADHA. We work on Math and Spanish focusing on practice problems, homework and focus techniques for tests.
I have great patients while letting my students figure out problems and am able to provide help when needed without giving answers. I believe the best way to memorize is to do practice problems. The student should come prepared with what they would like to focus on in that session and know their weaknesses. I also believe organization outside of the classroom is important and help my students make a schedule to study, not just while being tutored.
