One fact about me is that I am an animal lover, I have had a wide range of animals including a snake, dwarf goats, and even a cockatoo.

About Me

I am a senior at UTA, I double majored in Biology and Psychology as a pre-med student. I am a member of the International Honor Society in Psychology and currently participate in a research lab in biology. I have also previously been a research assistant in a psychology lab and have been a TA in previous semesters as well. After receiving my bachelors degree I intent on applying for medical school.

Experience

As a TA I managed all assignments, grading, and assisting students in their learning outside of class time. I have tutored privately at all levels including university.

Approach

My first couple of semesters in college I struggled and found the transition in learning to be incredibly difficult. Many people along the way took the time to guide me and help shape me into the student I am today. I hope to be able to pass the favor along and help other students, of all ages, to be successful in their learning. I understand very well that learning cannot be limited to just the classroom but instead takes plenty of practice and dedication outside of lecture as well.
