About Me

I am a sophomore undergraduate student at Cornell University, studying Civil Engineering with a minor in Business. I have previously graduated Medgar Evers College as Magna Cum Laude with an Associates Degree in Biology and Concentration in Calculus.

Experience

I tutored High School and middle school students while being a member of the National Honor Society. I was a teacher for the SPLASH! at Cornell program last spring where I taught dance to middle school students. I am also a mentor in the Bridges Scholars Program for engineers.

Approach

Growing up I always felt like certain teachers didn't adapt to the way every student learned, so I would often find myself coming home and having to reteach it to myself in a way that works for me, being that I never had access to a tutor. As I got older I realized my passion for physics and math, as well as my dedication towards different teaching strategies and types of learners.
