One passion that I have is working with children I love helping them to excel, learn and grow. I also love to read, travel, and spend time with my family.

About Me

I am and Sophmore health science major attending Howard University located in Washington DC in hopes of one day becoming a pediatrician.

Experience

As a member of the national honors society in high school, I have tutored other high school and middle school kids. Also over the summer, I tutored kids in my neighborhood just to help them out. Lastly, I worked at a summer camp with low-income middle schoolers helping them with their math, reading, and language skills.

Approach

As a child, I struggled with math a lot and I always loved when I had someone trustworthy, kind, and willing to help me through my struggles. I loved to feel comfortable enough with a teacher or a peer who would not judge me based on my struggles. Therefore, I would love to help children and encourage them to understand that they can do anything they put their minds to.
