About Me
I just graduated with a B.S. in Food Science from Cornell University! Food Science is an interdisciplinary field covering nutrition, biology, chemistry, engineering, and business. My favorite subject is Food Chemistry :)
Experience
I have 2 years of experience tutoring k-8 ESL students in Math and English. Additionally, I have taught hands-on Life Science classes interning at the Stamford Nature Center. I currently work as an outdoor education instructor at Cornell University helping students learn skills and gain confidence in the outdoors.
Approach
As a child, I struggled with ADHD and Dyslexia. It was careful individualized instruction that helped me develop the tools to succeed and fostered a lifelong passion for learning. I believe in the value of understanding the process, not just how to get an answer; I strive to instill that in my students.
