Fun Facts
Aside my love for Math and Science, I love to dance. I think dancing is something you can do anytime, anywhere and with any style with nobody to judge you because you create your own steps. I also love to cook Nigerian food, it's very spicy and rich in vegetable. I cook almost every weekend and I'm always excited to share food with my friends. I also love to meet people from different places so I hope to travel round the world someday.
About Me
I graduated in May 2014, with two Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Mathematics. I currently attend University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. I am enrolled in a Masters in Public Health program, Epidemiology. I am from Atlanta Georgia, originally from Nigeria. I have over two years experience in houston">tutoring middle school, high school and college level chemistry (general chemistry and organic chemistry) and math (Algebra, Calculus I, Calculus II).
I have tutored both in an individual setting and a group setting. I tutored one client from grade 9 to grade 11. He ended up with a B in the class. We met once a week and he improved over time. College students I tutored, about 90% of them ended up with an A in the class most especially Chemistry. Recently, I tutored a student that goes to Houston Community College and she did great in the class.
I realized that in an individual setting I am able to break the concepts down and analyze the person's strengths and weaknesses. However, in a group setting I realize that some people learn faster than others so I try to slow down and go at a moderate pace and sometimes stay back to help student. It is important as a houston">tutor to keep in mind that every client is different and thus you would always have room for improvement yourself to become a better houston">tutor.
