About Me
I am a Ph.D. candidate in UCSD/SDSU Joint Doctoral Program. I study chemistry - specifically electrochemistry and organic chemistry. GPA of 3.5 in my graduate studies. I'd like to become a professor one day.
Experience
I have been a tutor since high school and enjoy working with people to help them succeed. In addition to undergraduate and current graduate education, I worked in the biotech industry for over a year.
Approach
I used to struggle with subjects like math and science until I was tutored in middle school. During that time I was shown easy and effective ways to think about and tackle problems. Instead of rushing head first into a problem, I find taking a step-wise manner to solve problems more effectively. Laying the groundwork with solid fundamentals in either math or science leads to students' success.
