Fun Facts

I love music and singing! I sing with my church choir or for other events in my free time. When I was nine years old, I got the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. I will never forget that awesome experience! I spend the rest of my time with family and friends. I am happily married with two young children and my fur babies. We love to watch movies, play board games, and travel when we get the chance.

About Me

I have a degree in Elementary Education for Kindergarten through the 6th grades from Jacksonville State University in Alabama. I graduated in 2009 and have many years of experience in teaching/tutoring. I am now a full-time online tutor for a couple of different companies. Teaching is my passion! I love the challenge of helping my students learn, grow, and reach their educational goals.

Experience

I have 7+ years of teaching/tutoring experience in several different subjects and with several different age groups. I have taught in both brick-and-mortar schools and online. I have a proven record of success with my students. When I taught Kindergarten, my students had the highest reading scores in their grades! Approach

When I was in Elementary school, we got the opportunity to have a career day. We were able to choose anybody that we wanted to spend our day with. I chose my aunt, who was a teacher. I got to watch her passion for teaching. Her students latched on to her style of instruction and thrived in her classroom. It was from that day forward, that I wanted to do the same thing.
