I love reading, I will read almost anything. When I was a child, I read cereal boxes during breakfast. I enjoy museums, especially art, and I will read the entire description of the artwork.

About Me

I majored in Business and Creative Writing, and I do enjoy writing. I have worked in education for many years, I started working as a Teaching Assistant when my youngest started school, and she's now a mother. I worked in education/kentucky/louisville">Special Education, and regular classrooms. For the last few years I have been tutoring online, I have always had a love for learning, and I want to share that with others.

Experience

I started working in Preschool when my youngest was in Preschool. I moved to higher grades and worked with students from elementary grades up through High School, many times it was one on one learning when a student needed that kind of learning. I homeschooled my daughter and helped my grandchildren while they were doing virtual school. I have tutored ESL, English Language Arts, Writing, and Elementary Math.

Approach

I find the best approach to tutoring is the best way I learned as a child, let me know how comfortable you are with the material and what you might be struggling with, and we'll begin from there. If you have a question, stop me anytime, there are no stupid questions in learning. If you need to go over something again, that's what we'll do. I want a student to leave our session confident to go on to the next activity.
