I am a choir director for children through adults, I hold a certification for World Music Drumming Level 1 and I am a licensed Zumba, Zumba Kids, Zumba Kids Jr., Zumba Toning, and Zumba Gold instructor!
About Me
I earned a Bachelor of Music with a minor in Education from houston">The houston">University of Houston and I hold a Pre-K-12 All Level Music teaching certification in the state of Texas. I love helping students to reach their full potential while encouraging a love for lifelong learning.
Experience
As an elementary music teacher, I successfully worked with Kindergarten through fifth-grade students and tutored some of them to prepare for the STAAR test. I also have experience working with middle school, high school, and adult students in a choral setting. For the last year, I have tutored math, reading, and ELA for elementary, middle school, and high school students.

Ear Training Tutoring
I hold a Bachelor of Music degree with a minor in education. I completed extensive coursework in ear training and sight singing as well as training students in choir to utilize these skills. As a singer, I strengthened my ear training and sight singing skills through participation in a number of choirs throughout middle school, high school and college.
Music Theory Tutoring
I hold a Bachelor of Music degree with a minor in education. I completed extensive coursework in music theory. As a choir director, I taught students basic music theory as it relates to music reading, sight singing and ear training.
Reading Tutoring
For the last year, I have virtually tutored students in elementary, middle school and high school in reading and ELA. I currently work with kindergarten through 2nd grade students to build their foundational reading skills through high powered tutoring. I love helping students to learn this skill that is the building block for their learning in years to come!
