I follow horse racing closely. I think it is quite the cerebral challenge to handicap a thoroughbred horse race. It takes into account a lot of different variables that can impact whether or not you make a successful wager.
About Me
I am a retired math professor. I taught high school math for about 20 years and college for about 18 years. I have also tutored in math extensively. I also coached cross-country and track & field for well over 30 years. I have also been a track official for over 20 years.
Experience
I have taught or tutored all levels of math from basic arithmetic to calculus and statistics. I am a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). There are very few instances involving math that I have not either taught or encountered in my 40+ years as a professional mathematician.
Approach
I try to explain math in as many different ways as I can since different students have different learning styles. Some students are more auditory learners, and some are more visual learners. Some students are a combination of both auditory and visual/

College Algebra Tutoring
