I truly enjoy reading and going to the theater with my family. I am the oldest of four siblings who think I was rather bossy, but I was only looking after them. I am now married and have a 16-year-old daughter. She is a high school sophomore with so much homework and who is always asking me to help, that I am now a pro! Good thing is, I love helping her with that.

About Me

I am licensed in International Commerce, I worked in Nestle Mexico in the Purchasing Department and afterward in the Raw Materials Warehouse. After I got married I went back to college and got a degree as a Healthcare Data Tech. But to be close to my daughter, I began tutoring online ESL for a Chinese company.

Experience

I taught English in high school when I lived in Mexico some years ago. I have been an online English tutor for over 5 years. Recently I have also tutored children from grades 3 to 12 in the following subjects: English, Math, Spanish, and Religion.

Approach

As a student and now a mom of a student I understand the struggles children face when trying to learn a new language or a new subject. I try to be patient but most importantly, I try to show empathy to my students to show them that I understand and they are not alone. I always try to make them feel comfortable by asking any questions and trying to help them reach their goals.
