About Me

I am the production manager for a custom animal caging manufacturer. I use AutoCAD and excel regularly. I've completed my Associate's degree in Mathematics and have taken classes in Mechanical Engineering at houston">the houston">University of Houston.

Experience

During my time studying at Houston, I worked part-time after classes at a Mathnasium center for 4 years. I was quickly promoted to lead instructor and handled manager duties during the weekends.

Approach

Learning math is based on a mastery of the prior topic. Most math struggles are rooted in incomplete or missing knowledge of said prior topics. I identify knowledge gaps, backtrack to catch up with students, and then maintain or advance the student when possible. Patience and enthusiasm on my part are paramount to never discourage my student.
