About Me

I am a college graduate from the pittsburgh">University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Actuarial Math and a degree in Finance.
I moved to Chicago recently and really enjoy the winters and cold weather! I hope to become an actuary one day.

At the pittsburgh">university of Pittsburgh I tutored math for 3.5 years through the Academic Success Center. Also, I took part in running the chicago">tutoring program as the payroll and communication coordinator. In addition to college, I chicago">tutoring math for a few years in high school.

As a chicago">tutor I try to identify with the students by give many different approaches to the same problem. By giving the different approaches I am able to see which one the student understands best and adjust the teaching techniques accordingly. Furthermore, I listen to how the student explains the material/problem to hear their interpretation.
