My undergraduate degree is in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Culture, Literature and the Arts. I have always enjoyed reading and I have a broad knowledge of classical and contemporary literature. I have helped students become successful at analyzing and synthesizing works of literature.

Helping students pass the GED test has given me much pride. I enjoy the challenge of helping students understand the basics in all subject areas: math, science, social studies, history, math, and language arts.

This "click" has allowed me to teach math in such a way that my students can easily grasp the concepts. I am a self-professed "readaholic" and I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have only taught English Language Arts for the past five years, and this has allowed me to hone my skills in this subject area. In my free time, I also write and perform spoken word poetry.
