I transferred from Edmonds Community College with 4.00 GPA, and I hope to keep that GPA in UW. I like car and I'm aiming for a job in the automotive industry after I graduate.
While I was in Edmonds Community College, I was a washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutor for 2 places at the same time for the length of 6 months. I tutored in Learning Support Center where anyone could come in to get help with whatever class they were having trouble with, and if any of them were Math, Physics, or Chemistry, I would be assigned to help them. I also tutored in Trio - Student Support Service of EDCC, where I was assigned one-on-one washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutor with several members of the group. Beside washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutoring, I kept track of their progress and shared things with them to develop a good washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutor-tutee relationship
I have several approaches depending on the progress of the student, but the one I like the most is asking questions. When a student is having a problem, I will keep asking questions as a guidance that leads them to the final answer. I can also relate science problems with real life situation to help them remember it better. I also have many tips and tricks to help the students answer problems much quicker, once they have understood it. I also have my own organized studying method that I would love to share it to anyone who is interested.
