I have love reading and writing in my spare time. I aspire to write a book in my lifetime. I am a mom to six children. Gardening is one of my favorite hobbies.

About Me

I am a junior at Purdue Global University, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Communications. As of right now, I have a 4.0 GPA. In 2016, I was awarded an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA. I made the Chancellor's and Vice Chancellors list multiple times. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and was also Who's Who Among Students.

Experience

While getting my Associate's degree, my English professors would ask me to assist them in helping the other students that could not grasp the concepts of writing. I would tutor my classmates during and after class to help them pass. I also taught my own children to read and write before they started kindergarten.

Approach

I struggled in high school with the difficult structures that were used to teach and the long hours spent in a classroom. I did not flourish in my learning capabilities until college with minimum classroom hours and more independence to do the work in my own way and in my own time.
