About Me
In college, I was studying secondary education social sciences and was a reading tutor for elementary students. I took a break from school in order to be a preschool teacher and substitute teacher for the state of Missouri, which allowed me to work with children from Pre-K all the way to 12th grade. I also have grown to love Special Education and have picked up many methods on how to interact with all students regardless of who they are. I’m very easygoing and love to learn new teaching methods, so I know multiple ways of how to teach a student in a way that they understand.
Now, I am married to the love of my life who is just as dedicated to teaching as I am.
Experience
As I mentioned earlier, I have experience from my classes in college but I have also developed hands-on experience thanks to my job history. I have worked with children across every stage of development, which allows me to teach any student in any way that best supports them.
Approach
Working with students from Pre-K all the way to 12th grade has allowed me to see how children of different ages respond to different instructions. Working in Special Education has helped me accomplish this task even more. In the past, I have been extremely adaptable for my students in order to give them the full support they need and I plan to do that for you as well.

This allows me to be an excellent tutor in ACT and SAT math preparation because I can help students practice solving the math they’ll see on their test and how to do it in an efficient amount of time.
