About Me

Fashion Designer, Scientist, Teacher, and Community Advocate; I am Kai Senaya. Being involved in community outreach since the age of seven I learned the value of having empathy for others. I became acutely aware that my childhood volunteerism provided me with a unique ability to invest myself fully into the health and well-being of others holistically. This unique ability gave me the passion to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Biology; with the ultimate goal of becoming a scientist. It also gave me the passion to receive an associate's Degree in Fashion Design and to become a Substitute Teacher for Milwaukee Public Schools. That unique ability also gave me the passion to start my own company Deffly Brand.

Experience

Volunteering and being employed through the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center, Milwaukee Public Schools, Bartlett City Schools, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Varsity Tutors, and various other community organizations non-profits, profits, and programs I've had the experience of being a tutor. I currently work as a substitute teacher.

Approach

I offer an individualized approach by focusing on the needs of the individual student. My teaching is very specific and targets one need at a time. I couple an individualized approach with differentiated teaching to make sure we meet each and every educational need of the child no matter the learning disability.
