Fun Facts
One passion people quickly learn about me is that I am a weather-obsessed storm chaser (10yrs+) and am in my senior year of earning my meteorology degree. I am Texas born and bred and have one sister, who is younger than me. I have two little dogs who are my soul mates.
About Me
I have a BA in international studies with a double minor in Arabic and Spanish and graduated summa cum laude in 2003. Currently, I am working on a second degree in meteorology. My ultimate goal is to teach meteorology at a college level.
Experience
I have nearly 2 decades of experience tutoring/teaching... mainly math and Spanish, on all educational levels. I started tutoring when I was 15 years old, and still have a passion for education. Working for Frog Tutoring allows me to impact the lives of students, and help them gain confidence in themselves and their abilities.
Approach
As a tutor, I know the importance of teaching in such a way that my student learns the material, and gains confidence in their ability to complete their assignments. I approach every session with patience and dedication, and work with the student, step by step, until they understand the material. I feel it is my responsibility to teach them the content, but also study skills that will help them be successful in all classes, present, and future.
