Fun Facts
My lifelong dream is to be a lavender farmer after I retire.
About Me
I'm a Junior at the University of South Florida studying Science Education. When I graduate, I'd like to teach middle school science and high school biology and environmental science. I'm a self-proclaimed animal whisperer and as a fellow woman in STEM, I promote the passionate learning and understanding of STEM courses.
Experience
I've had hands-on teaching experiences since I was 15 and received my babysitting certificate and CPR/AED Certification, which was followed up by being a camp counsellor over the summer after my freshman year of high school. As a student in the College of Education, I have completed fifteen hours of middle school classroom observation, where I held a TA-adjacent position.
Approach
My approach is establishing a baseline of knowledge in the subject of concern and working steadily for the student to make connections and retain the material so that the learning process is a constant pursuit for the student.
