I am an active person who enjoys being outdoors. I like to hike and am an avid runner. I have run several half marathons. I also enjoy traveling and have been to countries such as France, Spain, Italy, Peru, and Thailand. I love learning about other cultures.

About Me

I am a Spanish teacher who also tutors Spanish.

Experience

I have been a teacher for over 15 years. I currently teach Spanish to grades 3-5. I have taught Spanish for over 10 years ranging in ages as young as 3 and up to 8th grade. I have also been tutoring for many years now.

Approach

I love to share the Spanish language with other students. I like to maximize the student's learning experience by using several methods in language acquisition. Depending on the age, I use total physical response and visuals (and songs with the younger students) to learn new vocabulary and key phrases in Spanish. There is a lot of repetition to practice vocabulary, grammar, conversation, and reading.
