About Me
I am currently a graduate student at ASU and working towards becoming a BCBA. I have a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and have many different experiences from being a teacher, camp counselor, BHT, nanny, and coach. I have always loved working with kids and plan to continue my education and study genetic and metabolic disorders after my masters program in applied behavior analysis.
Experience
I have 4+ years of teaching at public and private schools for various ages. I was also an overnight camp counselor for 3 years and followed undergrad by moving to NYC and working for City Year as a 2nd and 3rd-grade education/arizona/phoenix">special education teacher. I'm excited to be working for Frog Tutoring to give me more opportunities to work with students and support them academically.
Approach
My approach is assent based and makes the content engaging for learners that support their individualized needs. I understand the need for individualized support and one-on-one time when learning new content to reach competency. I want to always be a positive encouraging adult in the academic world for all children who are looking for added support.
