One passion of mine is movies. I love going to theatres as well as binging movies that look interesting to me. You're very likely to see me watching movies you might recommend to me. I like to watch renovation projects often, I hope to one day do my own.

About Me

I am currently pursuing a career in tech and recently relocated to Chicago from Michigan. I'm still getting to know the city and what all it has to offer.

Experience

While I was pursuing my undergraduate degree, I was a first-year mentor for 3 years for incoming freshmen into college as well as a leader in Intercultural Affairs. When I graduated I did a service year with Americorps working with an education non-profit organization that paired students with mentors and also giving them a chance to earn scholarships for college or vocational schools.

Approach

As a child, I had very little guidance or assistance in tackling my courses. When I was in high school I had the opportunity to work with kids in the elementary school near mine after school and I've known since then how instrumental it is for young kids to have someone they can look up to and feel can understand them.
