One of my passions is cooking, I love to cook for my family and friends. I have two sisters and one brother and a native of Detroit. I love American History and am an avid reader.

About Me

I am the Program Director for Coleman A. Young II Educational Foundation STEM program, offering STEM services to students at Detroit Public Schools.

Experience

I have over 20 years of experience in education, I taught 5th grade for 15 years, I tutored reading and math for Educate, Inc. and was Regional Director for Catapult On-line. I managed accounts for the Mid-Western region, conducted and developed training programs and developed supplemental services curriculum for grades K-12. Working as a tutor allows me the opportunity to impact more students that need help.

Approach

I've always been a person who helped others, I tutored family members that were struggling in school, as a high school student and realized that I was good at developing processes that helped students comprehend assignments by taking a step-by-step approach, dissecting a problem for students to grasp the concept and skills that will allow them to be successful in their classes.
