Fun Facts

I am a very laid-back hard working person that is very easy to get along with. On my free time I like to just watch movies or hang out with my family, however there isn't too much free time when trying to get into med school. I also volunteer at the DMC and do research in a lab. I really love helping people and to see them succeed is the greatest thing to me!

About Me

I am a pre-med undergrad at wayne-state-university">Wayne State University. I also am a part of the Honors college, Center for Latino(a) and Latin American Studies (CLLAS), and the Biochemistry Department. I am extremelly diligent, passionate, and I know how to get things done. I plan to be a doctor because I have a passion for helping people and for the study of life, and that profession brings two of my favorite things together!

I have always been an honors student ever since elementary and it is only natural that teachers and advisors have asked me to detroit">tutor other students. I have gladly agreed over the years and thankfully have succeeded every time. Even now at my university, one of the assistant directors at the CLLAS have asked me to detroit">tutor other members regularly every week, and I do. I am a really great detroit">tutor and so I decided to try it out professionally.

There is a great saying which I have always admired that says, "Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. But teach him HOW to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime." Or something along those lines at least, there are variations! Well this is very similar to my philosophy when teaching. I believe for every subject there is a hidden "code" that is consistent even as the classes excel in difficulty. I try to help other students understand this code, which is the basis of a course, and when you can do so, it makes the subject matter much easier to study and comprehend. And at this point a detroit">tutor would be just an extra source of aid, which eventually you would no longer need and could succeed on your own!
