I LOVE to run! I ran cross country and track competitively through college, even becoming an NCCAA All-American in track and field. I still love to follow the sport, from the high school level to the professionals! It is my lifelong goal to run a race in all fifty states.

I am an energetic teacher taking a step away from the traditional classroom setting. I am devoted to promoting student learning and enhancing individual potential by prioritizing relationships and high-quality learning opportunities. As an enthusiastic teacher, I am dedicated to enabling growing young minds to achieve whatever they set their mind to. I am confident my experience and teaching style will make me a great asset to your tutoring program.

Experience

I graduated from Greenville University in 2020 with a degree in Elementary Education. In the past two and a half years, I have taught four different grade levels: third, fourth, fifth, and first grade. Throughout this experience, I have had to adapt to changes and overcome them so that I can be the best teacher I can be for my students. This has helped me learn valuable skills in positivity, teamwork, and perseverance.

Approach

Every student is capable of learning. Parents, teachers, and the community are a team together for their child's education. My role as the educator is to meet each student where they are at. I do this by giving students ownership over their learning and prioritizing relationships, differentiating instruction, and providing them with high-quality learning opportunities.
