About Me

I am currently a graduate student at the University of Utah for Speech-Language Pathology. I am from Iowa and moved here to go to school.

Experience

I have a degree in both Elementary Education and education/utah/salt-lake-city">Special Education. I spent a year substitute teaching taking both long-term and short-term positions. I also have been a nanny, community support service provider, and caretaker for adults with disabilities. I am well-versed in many evidence-based practices to help students learn and retain information in a way that is fun and exciting.

Approach

I love to use hands-on activities to help students learn. As a visual learner myself, I enjoy making lessons that allow my students to understand the material in a variety of formats while using evidence-based practices to support student learning.
