About Me

I'm Vina :) I've been tutoring for the past three years in ESL and Mathematics. I have experience in class management and breaking down concepts. I love tutoring and sharing my knowledge with others. I try to be friends with my students while maintaining high professionalism, making my classes very enjoyable and full of new concepts.

Experience

I have been a tutor for elementary and middle school students for the last three years through "Superprof." I also coach students in swimming, which has taught me to be patient and caring. My experience in the previous three years has made me develop into a caring professional tutor.

Approach

When I first moved to the United States, I struggled with catching up on classes and staying on top while learning English. It was very stressful with a lack of support because my parents also struggled with the language. Due to this experience, I became an ESL tutor after becoming fluent in English and later transferred to a mathematics and science tutor to help others struggle less in their classes.
