Fun Facts
Every summer, I foster orphaned kittens, and the last batch was lovingly named Bagel, Biscuit, and Toast. I don't like chocolate ice cream, and I've visited almost every national park west of the Mississippi.
About Me
I am a senior Architectural Studies major at the University of Southern California (USC) and a CAD/BIM enthusiast with personal experience supporting students in their architecture projects and other academic endeavors.
Experience
As a QuestBridge National Scholar, I had to experience mentoring first-year students within the QuestBridge program at USC. Additionally, I gained valuable experience supervising and tutoring architecture and engineering students of all levels as a work-study in the Digital Fabrication Lab where I taught essential drafting, model-building, and fabrication skills. Not only that, but I also have real-world drafting experience from my prior research assistant and freelance work.
Approach
With a patient and understanding personality, I spend the extra effort to give thoughtful, comprehensive guidance through difficult subjects for those looking to not only learn a skill but apply that skill in creative ways. My passion for helping others to succeed—complemented by my practiced skills in drafting and design—positions me to make a meaningful impact as a mentor.

Writing Tutoring
From my own experience writing articles, college essays, and research papers in many writing-heavy courses on a myriad of subjects at the University of Southern California, I know just how invaluable a genuinely constructive critique can strengthen a piece of writing. My own past experience with mentors improved not only the quality of my papers per se but my approach to brainstorming, researching, and planning, so I could achieve the A's in my courses and feel proud of my work.
Adobe InDesign Tutoring
An essential tool for creating professional layouts both for school and for various industries, Adobe InDesign was one of the first programs I picked up when designing portfolios, presentations, and other media for my Architectural Design studios—in which I received A's—at the University of Southern California. Additionally, I also used the tool for designing the comprehensive maintenance and safety guidebook for the Digital Fabrication Lab at my university.
AutoCAD Tutoring
As a previous research assistant and freelance CAD Drafter, I have used AutoCAD for 7+ years. With specializations in parametric/BIM modelling and digital fabrication (i.e. 3D printing, laser cutting, robotics), I have familiarized myself with the design potentials of the program along with its limitations. By learning AutoCAD in high school before enrolling in architecture school, I discovered how valuable of an advantage I had over my peers. In my first two years of architecture, I received A's alongside a $500 scholarship for being the best student in my design studio, and I have to thank my prior AutoCAD experience for that opportunity to get ahead. Now, it is my pleasure to pass on that torch to others seeking a head start.
