I love sports, basketball, in particular, I can talk NBA all day. I also really enjoy reading fantasy novels, especially Brandon Sanderson, but I have read many YA fiction novels in my time. I have traveled to many countries including Mongolia and Hungary, and love to try new things

About Me

I am a Junior Biology Major at the U of Utah. I have been on the dean's list for two years at the U of U and graduated valedictorian of my high school (Summit Academy). I have a passion for science and especially biology and want to get students to love the subject as I do. My ultimate goal is to participate in research for one of the biotech companies in the country.

Experience

I have unofficially tutored many of my peers in my high school and college courses. I have worked with assisting my younger siblings to pass their high and middle school level science courses.

Approach

Science and biology can be hard and unintuitive subjects at times. I have been fortunate enough to have a knack for these courses, and want to help others who are not as fortunate. I want younger students to experience biology as I have and fall in love with just how cool the natural world is. I want students to feel supported by me because that's how all of my favorite teachers have helped me learn.
