I’m very passionate about teaching others, specifically math. I find myself having glee in being able to teach something to others.

About Me

I’m a freshman at Houston Community College, pursuing my associate's of science, as well as a sophomore in high school pursuing my high school diploma. I hope to attend houston">the houston">University of Houston once I graduate, where I'd peruse a bachelor's in software engineering or mathematics.

Experience

I've had a few years of experience tutoring younger students in Algebra 1/2, and most recently algebra/texas/houston">college algebra. A few times, I've also gone to elementary schools where I was focused on teaching the students how to better read and retain the information they read. Other than these experiences, I have no professional experience.

Approach

Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have teachers who ensured I understood the curriculum. I believe every student should have this gift, proving so by positive encouragement and practice problems - hopefully having the student teach me the problem to test their understanding. Students are more than welcome to bring homework problems they are struggling with.
