Fun Facts

Crafting is one of my favorite pastimes. I sew, knit, crochet, and love making new wreaths! I make new winter hats for my children each year. I am a native of Ohio but have lived in five states.

About Me

I have an Associate of Science from Columbus State Community College and a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University (OSU) where I majored in history. I graduated with the highest honors, summa cum laude, from OSU in 2022.

Experience

I have been a successful academic tutor for grades K-12 for 1.5 years. I tutor mostly in English and math, but I do have experience tutoring in other subjects such as sciences, humanities, and history. I am also a licensed multi-age substitute teacher in the state of Ohio.

Approach

During my teenage years, I watched my younger sister struggle through school without receiving much help from her teachers. I began helping her myself and watched her grades get better and better. Now, as an adult, I realize the importance of having a supportive and encouraging team on your side. I hope to become a part of that team, to redirect any negative feelings associated with learning, and to continuously try new learning methods until we find the one that is best for you.
