Fun Facts
I am incredibly passionate about psychology and mental health. I really enjoy finding new methods of relaxational and mental health care.
About Me
I am a Junior majoring in Community Psychology at DePaul University. I am passionate about psychology and all of the required skills that come with the field such as reading, writing, critical thinking, and research. In addition to being passionate about Community Psychology, I also love learning American Sign Language.
Experience
I taught students ages 3-60 taekwondo, a Korean martial art, for over 5 years. In doing this, I gained invaluable experience working with people of all ages, all learning levels, and a variety of different physical differences. Additionally, I learned and practiced various methods of teaching to suit each student's individual needs.
Approach
Through my experience teaching taekwondo, I learned a variety of teaching styles to cater to each student's learning needs. Typically, I let the student lead and point me in the direction that they are struggling or need help. I believe in compassionate, positive teaching as the best approach for all students.
