My hearts desire to help and teach others. When I’m not doing this you can often find me busy with a craft. I like to use crafts as a calming activity for me, but also to get ideas for helping my students better.

About Me

I am in the teaching credential program at National University currently. I work at an elementary school for going on 6 years, and I have been tutoring for about a year. My end goal is to be an Elementary School teacher. I feel like this is a great stepping stone for me because it allows me to work with students and help them while I am still finishing my teaching credential.

Experience

I have the most experience with students from 8th grade down to 2 years old but have some experience tutoring high schoolers and adults.

Approach

Throughout school, I was the student who struggled and had a hard time keeping up in certain subjects. This is why I like tutoring. I know assignments and tests can seem overwhelming when they don’t make sense, and my first aim is to make them seem reasonable and not overwhelming to the student.
