About Me
I currently work as a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) teacher in an after-school program for middle schoolers. I also worked with special needs children covering various topics.
Experience
Currently, we are teaching middle schoolers the history of flight, space technology, and the cosmos. Reading and math are part of the line of study in this program. .
Approach
I have taken courses in Calculus and preliminary courses. For some reason, as a child, I had difficulty learning math. I taught myself. I started taking college courses at BMCC and reached Calculus II at CUNY. I have learned HTML, CSS, MS Excel, and MS Word. In the course of my studies, I learned to use computers efficiently. I believe in being diligent in organizing and prioritizing learning goals based on the topics in the curriculum and where more diligence is needed.
