Fun Facts

I love the ocean, food, and spy movies! I have traveled to 30+ countries and have lived in 6. I am a Bahamian American. As a kid, I went to an international school in the Bahamas and spoke with a Caribbean accent. We moved to the US and now I speak with a clear American accent! I know what it's like to move to a new country and learn a new way to speak. Let me help you become a skilled and confident English speaker!

About Me

I travel a lot. And I have taught and tutored international students from ages 5-25. It's so fun learning about different cultures. I have published my book and now I have a weekly podcast! I also love photography. I have photographed the Cairo pyramids, the Swiss Alps, and the "blue city" in Morocco!

Experience

I have taught in US and international schools for 20+ years. I taught in Egypt, Switzerland, and Morocco! It's so much fun to meet all of these students and learn from them while I teach them. And, in Switzerland, I even saw snow on palm trees ... so weird!

Approach

So many people today talk about having a short attention span. Me, too! So I like to keep the pace moving when I tutor and keep the lesson focused, but also fun!
