Fun Facts
I am originally from New Jersey and am half-Japanese. I love chatting about Japanese culture, TV shows/movies, pets, and art!
About Me
I recently completed 1 year of graduate coursework in a Master of Social Work program. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom seeking to help out my community.
Experience
As an undergrad, I tutored fellow undergrad students in psychology, human development, and Japanese. I also worked for 2 years as a teaching assistant grading assignments, mentoring in advanced writing/research, writing quiz/test questions, and teaching test prep.
After college, I worked for several years serving neurodiverse (ASD, ADHD, developmental delays) teens and young adults in improving executive functioning skills, goal development, and vocational skills.
Approach
Through my work and educational experience I am also highly aware of mental health needs and incorporate that sensitivity in my interactions with clients.
My overall approach is person-centered and focused on the next step forward. By using SMART goals, I can help you accomplish your big goals!
