About Me
I am a former classroom teacher who took to remote learning when Covid closed schools. I loved virtual teaching so much, I decided to make it my career! I have a B.S. in Social Sciences, a B.A. in International History, and a Master's in Secondary Teaching, for which I received a 4.0! I also work as a freelance curriculum designer, content creator, writing coach, and mentor!

Positions Held:
2002-2003- Elementary and Middle School reading and homework tutor through a collaboration with Frostburg State University (Read to Succeed) and the local schools.
2005-2007- College tutor through the Student Support Services office at Frostburg State.
2006– 2009- Customer Service Representative for Michigan DNR (Infospherix)- Responsible for data entry, customer service phone calls, booking reservations, and watching the floor. Won numerous perfect attendance awards as well as 1
Approach
As a student who was not diagnosed with ADHD until recently, I struggled to stay organized and meet deadlines. I was able to put structures and routines in place to help me graduate with a graduate degree and a 4.0! I grew up in a small rural area and attended a K-12. Those in neighboring communities disregarded us and treated my neighbors like inferior students. I became a teacher so no student would ever have to feel inferior because of their race, gender, socioeconomic status, academic skill
