Fun Facts
I am a self-professed History nerd that loves to teach. I love to travel - especially in Europe.
About Me
I am a recently-retired Texas public school teacher. I taught at the high school and lower grade levels for 20 years. I am also a trained AP reader. I have been invited by the College Board for the past seven years to read in person or remotely. I have also taught adult students to prepare them for the GED. I enjoy teaching and I believe everyone can learn.
Experience
I taught for over twenty years in a local school district. I’ve taught world geography, world history, U.S. History, U.S. Government, and economics. I also taught AP World History, U.S. History, European History, U.S . Government and Politics, and Macroeconomics. I am a college board-trained AP Reader.
Approach
I believe every student can learn - it is just a matter of finding the correct approach. As a teacher, I am willing to go the extra mile to find that approach with all of my students.
