About Me

I am currently working at Bridgeport Hospital, but I am passionate about learning. I helped my wife and mother-in-law get their US citizenship and I created a Powerpoint presentation for anyone who is studying for the first section of the test. I love algebra. The equations are like puzzles for me to solve.

Experience

While returning to school for my teaching certificate, I had the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico and taught a math lesson at a middle school level. I have also worked as a teaching assistant at Western CT State University and I worked in the math clinic for a year then I got a job at the Huntington Learning Center in New Milford where I was a tutor for children of all ages.

Approach

My approach as a teacher is to instill students with the basics and teach them well enough they don't need a calculator to do simple addition, subtraction, or multiplication. I find that learning should be fun as well as informative.
