I am highly passionate about history, particularly U.S. and European history, and enjoy working with students! I always bring enthusiasm and commitment to my engagement with students, and I am devoted to facilitating their academic success!
About Me
I am a recent graduate of the MLIS program at UNC-Greensboro, and my long-term career goal is to work in the historical or library fields as a research librarian, archivist, or data specialist. I have had extensive experience working remotely with K-12 and college students, and I bring a hands-on approach to helping them learn the material.
Experience
As an online tutor with TutorMe.com from October 2021 to December 2022, I worked with K 12 and college students in the subjects of English, History, Basic Math, and Library & Information Sciences. In working with these students, I walked them through the process of learning how to use online library technology for research and follow proper APA citation format for essay assignments. Approach
I bring a hands-on approach to working with the student by personally walking them through the steps of their homework assignments to help them solve the problems. I actively encourage them to use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills so that they may become effective independent learners.
