I am the author of a book and was the historical researcher for a historic documentary.
About Me
I am a military retiree and live in Cheyenne, Wyoming with my wife. I have two grown adult children who reside in Colorado. I currently work with homeless veterans at my full-time day job and in my off time I am an adjunct history professor as well as an academic coach. Although this may sound like a lot, after the military, I have to find things to keep my mind busy.
Experience
I have taught both in-person and online courses over the last ten years. I have been a coach or tutor for college-level students over the years both in the military as well in retirement working for a variety of community colleges and universities over the years.
Approach
My philosophy is that every student learns at a different speed and level. I have worked to ensure that no matter what learning level a student is at to find a solution to problems or obstacles they might encounter when taking part in my classes. Patience is another key part of my philosophy as a professor/coach. Students often get frustrated with their classes when they are struggling with something.
