Fun Facts
People see how much I love history, most people think that it is boring, but I love bringing fun to the lessons. I would love to have you ask questions and we work through the answer together.
About Me
I am halfway through my master's degree at Emporia State University, my degree is in library science, and I am the Graduate teaching assistant for databases. In addition to this, my bachelor's is in History. I am 22 and married to my lovely husband. I also have three cats, which probably show up during our sessions.
Experience
I am a member of the National Technical Honors society, in addition, I completed my Capstone or final project on women's role in the American revolution. I am also a member of the National Honors Society, with a 3.5 GPA. I also help tutor at the school for history subjects and writing.
Approach
I understand that learning a new subject is challenging, but at the same time, it is not impossible. My goal is that we work together, and I try to provide fun ways to learn. In addition, I understand when things get overwhelming, and you need an alternative learning method. I want each student to be able to tell me when something is not working so that we learn instead of memorize. Memorizing makes a student stressed and nervous; however, learning will make a student confident.
