Fun Facts

I love sports, especially soccer, my daughter is a division 1 soccer player and my son is a 2-time state champion in soccer. I have also won a state championship in soccer as well. I have attended 2 World cups and love reading fantasy books.

About Me

I have taught history and English for over 30 years. I am currently the dept head of the social studies department at my high school. I have coached Varsity and Club Soccer for over 25 years. I currently teach at 2 local community colleges.

Experience

I have 30 years of teaching experience at the high school, middle school, and college levels. I have taught AP European, AP US, and AP World History, Religions, Civics, Economics, English Literature, and Leadership classes

Approach

I enjoy getting to know my student's likes and dislikes. Hopefully, the tutor and student form a symbiotic relationship that is mutually beneficial. I prefer to be a guide on the side rather than a sage on the stage.
