I am a big fan of animals! In my house, I have snakes, a tarantula, dogs, a bearded dragon, and lots of fish. I have also been to 4 continents and love to travel!

About Me

I am a History for Secondary Education major currently going to school while teaching in a school district. I am a former political science major who is changing plans and following my dreams. I absolutely love anything in the social sciences and have a fondness for government and American history.

Experience

I have previously done student teaching for AP US History and 1st grade. I am a former ESL tutor (German). I currently am in a long-term substitute position for middle school social studies and have been an athletic coach for youth spots.

Approach

I want to take a multi-sensory approach that is accessible to all including those who are neuro-divergent. The more senses are involved in learning, the more likely memory retention is. I want student-led learning where we are both excited about how we're learning and reaching goals.
