About Me

I graduated from CWU with a triple major in psychology, chemistry, and education. I currently teach 6th-grade math full-time. I have been teaching for 2 years and tutoring for many years before that.

Experience

I am a math teacher for Duval County Public Schools. I joined AmeriCorps right out of high school to become an academic coach and taught at a middle school, then was hired on to the summer school where I assisted with math, science, and reading comprehension! After that, I joined the teaching program at Central Washington University and got hired by the chemistry department to work as a tutor! I've been tutoring and teaching online for the past 5 years.

Approach

Everybody's brain works differently, so I figure out how to explain each concept in multiple ways so that you can get the best understanding of it! My job is done when you really understand whatever we have been working on. I can't wait to support your learning!
