Fun fact: I'm a huge cat lover and I have a rescue named Blue! I play guitar, violin, ukulele, keyboard, and drums. I write songs in my free time. I also know how to use a pottery wheel!

About Me

I am a recent high school graduate figuring out my goals for the future. In sophomore year, I received an award for best underclassman English Language Arts student. English has always been my strongest academic subject, but I got good grades in all my classes. I did several extracurriculars, including general art classes, theater groups, voice lessons, string ensemble as the first violinist, and a rock band. At Frog Tutoring, I plan to tutor in academics, art, and music.

Experience

This is my first tutoring job, but I have been a counselor at horse camp and Vacation Bible School. I helped kids come out of their comfort zones and try new things, as many of the kids at horse camp had never been around horses or open nature before. With Frog Tutoring, it is my hope that I can help students grow more comfortable and confident with skills they are learning.

Approach

I like to take a child-focused approach, centered around their interests and learning style. Growing up with autism and ADHD, I often felt alienated from lessons because I learned differently from others. Fortunately, when I worked with aides and tutors one-on-one, I was able to flourish both academically and in my hobbies.
